VFX Stuff

As described in the description of me I like doing visual effects as a hobby. I play around to make some cool stuff and... stuff. Just to show of a little of what I've done and can do, here are some pictures. All these were done with Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Photoshop.
Note, I can also do this on film, not just pictures. I'll get up some videos soon.

Just because something isn't posted here doesn't mean I can't do it. I just haven't got any pictures of it to show. This isn't much of a portfolio, and it's not meant to be either. But should you want to hire me I'll gladly listen.

This post will be updated with pictures and videos as I make more to show.

The Squirrel Factor III

A group of people have made a parody-trilogy of the Matrix-films and the Star Wars-films about squirrels taking over the world. The third installment was just released today on Vimeo.
The films are quite good, actually. My kind of humour too. I immediately fell in love with the first film. I will urge you to take a look at them.

I also participated with rotoscoping lightsabers for the third film. Only three shots, but still. It was fun.

Introduction...

Ok, so I thought I might give a brief description of me and who I am for those of you who one way or another found this blog. So...

Hi. I am Robin. I live in a town named Fredrikstad in the country of Norway. Yes, it's cold here on the winters, but it's a really beautiful country. Believe me. I couldn't be prouder of what country I'm from. Sure, there has been times I wish I was American because I like the American language a lot, but I think it's best to stay Norwegian. I'm planning on moving to the U.S. later in life though. No kidding. I'm also gonna live in Japan and China. One year in each. When is still uncertain, but I'll get there one way or another.

Moving on...
I am currently 19 years of age, 6' tall and weigh 187 lbs. Hopefully I can lose some of the lbs this year. Wouldn't hurt.
Currently I'm not attending any school as I dropped out of my second year at High School two years ago. I was already way behind on stuff because I flunked about three classes, or something. I don't know, I wasn't paying much attention at school. At the time, that is. I have applied to start again this autumn. Hopefully I'll get to study Music this time, as opposed to last time when I studied Drama.

You see, I have a great interest in drama. And with drama I mean acting, theatre and stuff. I have been playing theatre for nine years now. I started back in 2000 at the age of 11, and I'm still doing it, with the same local group. According to other people I'm apparently a great actor. But believing them is another thing.
Acting and theatre is something I love and will continue as long as I am able to. To stand on a stage performing for a lot of people may sound frightening, but it really isn't. It gives you a feeling greater than any other. It makes your adrenaline pump (mine at least) and gives you a rush (me at least). The best feeling in the world to me, is to stand on a stage and make the audience laugh. I love it. And yes, it is the best feeling in the world.

Since I was a very small boy I've insisted on becoming an actor on film and theatre. My goals for life is to become an actor, a movie-maker and a composer for film, TV and other stuff.
I also love to write. Especially manuscripts and stuff, although I always have a hard time starting a story. If I do get lucky enough to get started I usually never finish.
My music-taste is a special one. I love film-music. I adore it. To have the power to make such a thing is breathtaking. Sadly, I don't have it. Yet. Also, my most favourite film-composer is Danny Elfman. He - is - awesome! And my second favourite film-composer(s) would be tied between Hans Zimmer and John Williams. Totally awesome. No kidding.

You might be wondering why the feck I write in English when I am Norwegian. Easy answer; English is the universal language that everyone understand. Well, almost; except for Swedes and Asians. ... Just kidding. I love the Asians. The Swedes; I don't know. ... Joking, joking. We love to joke about the Swedes. Always funny.

I think that's about it. Don't know what else to tell you. I'm straight and not gay, white and not black, lazy and not non-lazy (couldn't think of a better word right now. I'm too lazy).

Should there be anything else you want to know about me just send me a message or something. Although I don't see why you would want to know. And don't expect to see plenty of updates on this blog. I love to write, but as stated above; I'm lazy.

So, until next time! *swoosh!"

Unbelievable...

... I've started a blog! =O
Let's see how this evolves...
